- Abdulla M. Al Zamil, Chief Executive Officer of Zamil Industrial, was honored with the “Visionary of the Year” Award for 2013 at the inaugural CEO Middle East-KSA awards. Al Zamil was recognized for his leadership and vision at Zamil Industrial, where he currently leads more than 10,000 employees located in more than 50 countries, all of whom contributed to SAR 5.3 billion (USD 1.42 billion) in annual revenues in 2012.
- Abdulla M. Al Zamil, Chief Executive Officer of Zamil Industrial, received
the prestigious “Businessman of the Year” award at the Arabian Business
Achievement Awards 2012 ceremony that took place on Monday, 19 November 2012 at
the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai, UAE. Abdulla was honored for outstanding
achievements in recent years, especially his management philosophy, which has
been credited with the transformation of Zamil Industrial into a leading
regional and global industrial company.
- Zamil Industrial received the "Best Working
Environment for Training and Development 2009" Award
in recognition of its inclusive approach to employee
career development in a recent comprehensive study
conducted by consultants TeamOne Middle East and Al
Eqtisadiyah newspaper. The company also ranked first
in the category of best working environment in Saudi
Arabia amongst public listed companies in the
Building & Construction sector. The survey ranked
enterprise-sized companies with more than 500
employees located in Saudi Arabia.
- Dr. Abdulrahman A. Al Zamil, Chairman of the
Board, was presented with a certificate of Royal
Appreciation and Approval from the Custodian of the
Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al
Saud. The certificate honors Zamil Industrial’s
membership in the Strategic Partnership Project, a
joint venture between the private sector and the
Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
- Zamil Industrial has scooped second place in the
Saudi Responsible Competitiveness Index Award at the
2009 Global Competitiveness Forum in Riyadh, which
was hosted by the Saudi Arabian General Investment
Authority ("SAGIA") under the patronage of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin
Abdulaziz.
- Zamil Industrial was presented with an award from
HRH Prince Salman at a ceremony honoring "Young
Businessmen Forum" and associated exhibition 2007
sponsors in Riyadh. The award was received by Dr.
Abdulrahman A. Al Zamil, Chairman of Zamil
Industrial.
- ITP (The Information & Technology Publishing Co.
Ltd), the leading IT and Business publisher in
Middle East including the popular 'IT Weekly'
magazine, recognized our contribution to the
regional IT industry, and awarded us in the category
of "Outstanding use of IT in Manufacturing"
at the ceremony of '2005 IT Weekly Arab Technology
Awards', sponsored by Etisalat and held in
association with the Gulf Information Technology
Exhibition (GITEX)- October 2005.
- Zaki Sabbagh, Zamil Industrial CIO, was named "Saudi
IT Manager of the Year 2004" in April 2004
at a dinner party held in Riyadh at the Saudi
e-Business Award Ceremony. In October 2004 he
received the "Middle East CIO 2004" award during a
gala dinner in Dubai. These recognitions were
awarded in acknowledgement of the successful IT
shared services model implemented in Zamil
Industrial business units.
- Zamil Industrial triumphs in UAE Web Awards 2006.
Zamil Industrial has won the silver trophy in the "industrial"
category at UAE Web Awards 2006 for its Zamil
Industrial.com website. The awards recognize excellence in web
design and development skills.
- Zamil Industrial wins Gold at Pan Arab Web Awards 2007
in the "industrial" category held at Burj Al Arab, Dubai on 19th
April 2007.

Zamil Steel Company
|
- Zamil Steel Vietnam accepted the Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2012 (CSR Award 2012), from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in the category of Environment. The Awards ceremony was held on 30 March 2013 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, Vietnam. Zamil Steel Vietnam won its first CSR Award in 2009.
- Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam Co. has been awarded the prestigious
Golden Dragon Award for the 10th consecutive year.
- Zamil Steel Ras Al Khaimah was awarded the Environmental Performance Certificate (EPC) by the UAE Ministry of Environment and Water, in recognition of its outstanding efforts to comply with environmental protection standards and regulations to assure environmental sustainability during 2012.
- Zamil Steel received the quality certification for steel buildings with sophisticated paint endorsement from the American Institute of Steel Construction.
- Zamil Steel Vietnam has again ranked among the
top prestigious exporters of steel products in
Vietnam. The 2008 award marks the third
consecutive year in which the company achieved the
certificate. Top exporters were selected and
announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of
Vietnam on 16 April 2009.
- Third Engineering Arbitration Conference: Zamil Steel received a special appreciation award
from the Saudi Council of Engineers. The company
served as a Silver Sponsor of the 3rd Engineering
Arbitration Conference, at Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz
Science & Technology Center in Khobar from 20-22
October 2007.
- Customer Care Excellence Award:
Zamil Steel Industries has been awarded the Middle
East Customer Care Excellence Award for innovation
and best practices in customer care in manufacturing

Steel Vietnam. Zamil Steel Vietnam (ZSV), the Asian
operation of Saudi Arabia's Zamil Steel, has been
awarded the prestigious "Golden Dragon Prize" for

Zamil Air Conditioners

- The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) honored Zamil Air Conditioners for its work in phasing out substances that deplete the ozone layer at the International Ozone Day that was organized
with the UN Environment Program in September 2012 in
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- Zamil Air Conditioners has earned the trusted AHRI Certified™ mark, an assurance of the product’s performance in accordance with AHRI standards.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) granted the AHRI 550/590 certification to the company upon successfully passing the performance tests. The Institute has added Zamil Air Conditioners to the Water Chilling Packages using the Vapor Compression Cycle (Air-Cooled) Certification Program as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
- Zamil Air Conditioners has been awarded the Emirates Quality Mark Certification for its consumer air conditioning products. The Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) granted the certification upon the company’s successful compliance with ESMA's certification requirements. The designation applies to all window and mini-split air conditioning systems produced by Zamil Air Conditioners.
- Zamil Air Conditioners has been honored with a
special appreciation award for its participation in
King Abdulaziz Award for Quality Assurance program
and presenting its capabilities in systems and data
analysis, during the quality forum that was held in
Riyadh in October 2008.
- Zamil
Air Conditioners has been honored with the "Award of
Distinction" for its Saudization program. The award
was presented at the sixth annual GCC ceremony
honoring distinguished private sector companies and
establishments for their sustained efforts to
localize jobs. Dr. Abdulrahman A. Al Zamil, Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Zamil Industrial, was
honored by HE Dr. Ghazi Al-Ghosaibi, Minister of
Labor, in recognition of Zamil Air Conditioners'
success in facilitating in the phasing-in of Saudi
workers and professionals at a special celebration
that took place on the occasion of the 24th session
of the Labor and Social Affairs Ministers of the GCC,
held in Riyadh from 13-14 November 2007.
- Zamil Air
Conditioners President, Ahmed A. Al Zamil, received
the HRH Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Saudization award
from HE Minster of Labor, Dr. Ghazi Al Gosaibi, in
January 2005 as the best company to achieve
Saudization levels in the Process Industry category.
- Zamil Air
Conditioners has affirmed its commitment to advance
scientific knowledge through joint research programs
at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).
The commitment is part of Zamil Air Conditioners
strategy to associate itself with academic
institutions, to improve air conditioning
performance efficiencies and to position itself as a
product innovator manufacturer.
- Zamil Air Conditioners received a certificate of appreciation
from HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud, Prince of Gizan in recognition of the role the
company is playing in providing technical training
for a number of Saudi students at Gizan Vocational
Training Center - 8 June 2004 & 16 May 2005.
- SABIC awards Zamil Air Conditioners as
Outstanding Supplier in 2003, 2004 and
2005.
- Cooline, Zamil Air Conditioners' international flagship brand
of air conditioners, emerged triumphant in the "Best GCC
Brand of the Decade Award", beating hundreds of
contenders to win in the FMCG - Consumer Durables Category on
24 December 2003.
- The Business Excellence award for product
manufacturers in the Business-to-Business by MEED (Middle East
Economic Digest) Magazine in a total of 10 business categories,
25 July 2002.
- General Electric Award for Engineering Excellence.
- Zamil Air Conditioners wins prestigious Saudi Chamber
of Commerce Export Award . The award was presented by
Prince Mohammed bin Fahad Al Saud, governor, Eastern Province
and Prince Saud bin Naif Al Saud, vice governor, Eastern
Province on 18 December 1999.
- Zamil Air Conditioners are the proud winners of the 1999 Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Al Saud Award for the ideal factory.
